ALFRED BROWN IV
A lifelong writer, artist, musician, and educator, Alfred Brown IV has published writing in venues like Fence, Diagram, Heartworm Press, and has a hybrid book of prose called Concrete Flag forthcoming. A recent graduate of USC’s doctoral program in Literature and Creative Writing, Alfred holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University and a Master’s of Fine Art in Fiction from Columbia University. He published HOME LESS, his first photographic monograph, with Cultural Materials, which he founded in 2017 to expand his work in the arts and art consultation. For the past 15 years he has performed and recorded with the band DANGERS, featured in Brooklyn Vegan and Rolling Stone.
