You’ve heard others rave about Scrivener but are perhaps reluctant to experiment with new software. This workshop will familiarize you with all the Scrivener basics; offer a glimpse of advanced features; and teach you how to painlessly import your existing material into this powerful (and user friendly) tool for writing and publishing.
Much more than a word processor, Scrivener is a writing environment that brings every element of your project together in one place: concepts, index cards, research, web links, photos, media, outlines, drafts, backups, and formatting for publishing (traditional/self/electronic). Scrivener is designed for projects of all kinds: manuscript, short story, poetry, blog, presentation, screenplay, textbook…whatever.
This workshop is oriented for beginners, but intermediate users will learn things too. Bring your laptop with Scrivener installed if you want to follow along, or just listen and learn.
