Susan L. Ross is the author of middle grade and young adult novels. She was a comparative literature major at Brown University and graduated from NYU School of Law. Her first book, Searching for Lottie, a contemporary middle grade Holocaust mystery, won the Sydney Taylor Manuscript Award and it will be published by Holiday House publishing company in Spring, 2019. Susan's middle grade novel, Kiki and Jacques, a story about the friendship between a Somali girl and boy from Maine, was also published by Holiday House. Susan has taught writing in various settings, written freelance features and essays, including Sweet Strings of Sorrow for Brown Alumni Monthly, and sits on the Board of Westport Library.
