Have you always wanted to try out a creative writing class? Do you write often, and keep a journal? Are you working on a writing project and would like to come “check in” one to three times over the summer for inspiration and a little guidance? Perfect. These one-time summer classes are for you. Using a combination of writing prompts and guided writing meditations, each participant will generate new work in class, in any genre. Students will then have the opportunity to share a few pages that they bring from home. All feedback will be positive and encouraging, with an emphasis on what’s working and on elements of craft.
Telling stories or writing poems, whether from our own lives or our imaginations, is a way to connect to each other and share our voices. Come share yours.
