This workshop is geared to the writer who is ready to move to the next level in the joyful process of fiction writing. Each week, participants will share a brief excerpt (up to five double-spaced pages) from an ongoing project–novel or short story–and the instructor will lead a constructive discussion of the manuscript, highlighting its positive aspects and gently suggesting ways to improve it. If time allows, there may also be general discussions of craft and perhaps some in-class writing. By weaving your own original stories, and by sharing work in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, you will find your voice and set your imagination free.
