Marcelle has worked with hundreds of writers and authors as a teacher, coach, editor and publisher. She is the creative director at Marcelle Ink and its subsidiary M-ink Media, a boutique service company designed to educate, support, publish and promote writers at all stages in their creative journey.


Her essays, articles and poetry have been published in numerous anthologies and magazines including Blended: Writers on the Stepfamily Experience (Seal Press), New York Times, Eating Well and The Story on NPR. She is the author of An Iridescent Life: Essays on Motherhood.

Marcelle is the former owner, editor-in-chief and publisher of Brain Child: The Magazine for Thinking Mothers and founder of Brain Teen: The Magazine for Thinking Parents. In 2020, both award-winning literary publications merged with Creative Nonfiction magazine and the Creative Nonfiction Foundation.
 
Marcelle has an MFA from New York University and a BA in Creative Studies. She is the mother of five, and lives in Wilton, CT with her husband Eric.
