Marcelle founded Marcelle Ink and its subsidiary M-ink Media, to educate, support, publish and promote writers at all stages in their creative journey. She is the author of An Iridescent Life: Essays on Motherhood and contributor to Blended: Writers on the Step Family Experience. Her work has been published in numerous outlets, including the New York Times, NPR, and Creative Nonfiction. Marcelle is the former Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Brain Child: The Magazine for Thinking Mothers, and founder of Brain Teen — two award-winning magazines that merged with Creative Nonfiction and the Creative Nonfiction Foundation in 2019.
Marcelle has an MFA from New York University. She lives with her husband in Wilton and is the mother of five young adult children.
