My creative nonfiction, fiction, and book reviews have appeared in Witness, Silk Road Review, Essay Daily, Press 53, and others. I hold an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and I teach composition and creative writing at Pima Community College. I write from the beautiful but prickly Sonoran desert in Tucson, Arizona, where I have raised four children. They bring me loads of joy and worry as well as writing material.
