For writers who want to activate their prose and write fiction that will magnetize readers, we’ll deep-dive into the following aspects of craft: dialogue, active voice, backstory, point of view, and show not tell. These areas are often critiqued yet seldom demystified. Students will share their work weekly for feedback from the instructor and constructive comments from their classmates. If you have an in-progress manuscript or are at the beginning of a new project, this class will help you come away writing more dynamic fiction.
