with Kathryn Satterfield
As mothers—and women—we're so busy taking care of our families that we often forget to tend to ourselves. But when we nurture ourselves, we become better able to nurture those around us. Whether you're a new writer hoping to find your voice or an experienced wordsmith looking for inspiration, this workshop will guide you forward to a more creative space. Every week, we will write to a few prompts—a poem, picture, song, or a paragraph of prose—and have the opportunity to share what we wrote with the group. Any comments will be supportive and encouraging.
This workshop will follow the Amherst Writers & Artists method, which was founded on the core belief that every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment, learn, and develop craft.______________________
