This is an advanced class for writers who are well into their books. We will focus on inching closer to your final page, even if you have no idea what your ending will be. To make progress, you will decide on a personal writing goal each week—a number of words, a brainstorm, an epilogue, a whole chapter or possibly more. Forward motion is the goal. Nothing you write has to be brilliant-—it just has to get done. We will celebrate every inch of progress!

In this class, you can expect:

o A warm, supportive environment

o Personalized discussions about structure, stakes, character-building,

   dialogue, and more.

o Respectful, constructive feedback from your fellow writers

    and the instructor.

o Help with writers’ block, obstacles, fear, and frustration.

o The ending of your book!

This class is open for registration by permission of the instructor only. If you are new to this course, a short manuscript submission is required (5-8 pages). Please click this form.

Optional: Want an extra hour of one-on-one attention?
Cara will provide written feedback on either part of a manuscript OR to help advise with the submission process for a total of an extra hour of consultation time. Please choose this option in the drop-down menu when purchasing this workshop. This extra time will be scheduled directly with the instructor.
