Navigating the world of dramatic writing can be daunting. There is no one path and oftentimes it's hard to know next steps. We have assembled an incredible team of entertainment professionals who are committed to mentoring and supporting our Dramatic Lab community. To help writers reach their goals at all stages of the development and writing process, Lab Advisors are available for private, one-on-one hourly consultations and/or ongoing coaching, by prior arrangement through the office.

We offer a variety of services, ranging from feedback on outlines and scripted pages to developing pitches, LookBooks, fellowship applications and general career advice.  We have advisors who can coach in all genres (comedy or drama) and formats (half-hr, one-hr, limited series, features, playwriting, shorts, animation, web series, spoken word and children's television).

 

Our rate for coaching and consulting services is $130 per hour and there is a two-hour minimum. The rate applies to the time the instructor spends reading, editing, preparing, and/or meeting with the writer. You may choose to have material read in advance of your meeting counted as your first hour and your discussion the second hour. All feedback is verbal. Note: maximum pages read in advance are 30 scripted pages or outlines/pitch docs up to 15 pages.
